As soon as motor vehicles entered the traffic;in order to control these vehicles and for the safety of the people in the USA-EU countries with the beginning of 1902 the public and civilians started to work together and especially the civilian NGO's were given very important qualifications,rippings and solution ?producing configurations.

In Turkey ,the number of dead children in traffic accidents, comes at the first position after the People's Republic of China and in the total deaths this number is two times more than the EU countries.With the ones that aren't included to the statistics this number doesn't decrease from average of 25 people in a day. In Turkey the Violation of Human Rights exists with the traffic accidents; with the sorrow of the families of the death, the injured and disabled people.And Turkeys loss per year in traffic accidents costs over 10 quadrillion.

While the insufficiency of penalties in traffic encourages drivers not to obey the rules,the lack of traffic teachers in preschools and primary schools obstructs the social conciousness.

The insufficiency of double-striped roads between cities, negligence of the railways in mass transit by the governments, and not improving the civillian society supports the increase in traffic accidents.

Besides these,alhough they don't exist in law,the special priviliges of civil vehicles in highways and bureaucratic power usage still continues.

Turkey feels the need for a civilian society which will observe all these and and that will do the inspection, caution and will produce solutions without being effected.

In this context ,as we are intellectual,responsible and neutral traffic volunteers;in order to prevent from the traffic terror which takes our lives and goods everyday and to make the society concious we have cooperated with the Directorate-General of Security,Highways,Univepsities,Governorates,the other private and public associations,civilian society organizations and we have formed this web-site both in English and Turkish under the name of HONORARY TRAFFIC INSPECTORS so that we can form solutions and projects,can warn,and contribute

Our association which is the biggest civilian society organization in trafficis a real nongovermental independent foundation with its EU standardized by-laws.
